Sulmona is right in the center of the region so it is close to mountain, ski resot and the adriatic sea. There is no need of the car having a good bus and train service. Sulmona itself is a very historical city that gave birth to the famous latin poet Ovid. The city is know throughout the world for its famous Confetti made of sugar and almond. We have nothing to envy Tuscany or Umbria, when it comes to visit unreal towns up in the mountains, castles, archeological sites. Last but not least good food and the best red wine ever will accompany your staying over to us for a vacation, that you will not forget so easy.
